Injury Recovery Tips

I’m aware there is a shed-load of resources online on injury recovery, on the Marathon Handbook site and elsewhere, but I was just wondering if anyone has any personal tips on injury recovery that have helped them?

I’ve been struggling with Posterior Tibial tendonitis (caused mainly by overpronation), and I think the biggest challenge for me is trying to find the balance between active recovery and making sure I give it enough rest also.
